Old Navy’s status as a back-to-school beacon is still intact, but this year, the brand is using some clever social media and printable content that reminds me of my own grade and middle school days to appeal to everyone heading back to campus.
The brand has been posting fun, printable content to appeal to all ages of school-goers. First up, grade schoolers. Available on its Facebook page, Old Navy has created cute individual coloring book pages that parents can print off and give to their kids. The pages play off the back-to-school theme and work to get kids excited to be heading back.
Also available through the Facebook page are paper dolls kids can print, cut out and dress up according to their taste (and the Old Navy fashions available). Pretty clever target marketing, no?
The tweens and teens are up next with a take on the middle-school favorite the fortune teller or cootie catcher. This version focuses on back-to-school style and figuring out which style best suits the participants (along with some examples of wardrobe staples from Old Navy).
