I was reminded of this point when I got an Apple TV ( http://bit.ly/6sDoNm ). Suddenly my entire photo library from the past decade was being used as the screen saver on my TV … I’d forgotten about all of the great “content” that I’d taken over the past 10 years and it was introduced to a whole new audience (visitors in our home) for whom it was “new to them”.

Re-purposing old content for interesting blog posts will never be quite as easy as showing all of your old photos to friends and family, but it is definitely worth scouring your company’s file servers for interesting content for either re-publishing or, at a minimum, sparking ideas for starting new articles and conversations online.
