TechCrunch reports the beta release of Viralheat, an affordable tool for measuring and analyzing social media content. The beta is limited to Twitter and YouTube, with blogs and other networks to follow shortly. Based on the write-up and fuzzy screen shots, Viralheat is kind of exciting. The data appears rich, exportable and portable.
Price is the most exciting feature! The $10 per month package tracks up to 10 brands, companies or individual profiles which should be more than adequate for upstart new media marketers. Affordability is a big deal! We started ChirpUp because we knew tools like this would become accessible to the mid-market.
Check out the TechCrunch full story for details. Of course, ChirpUp is on the beta list and hoping to provide a first hand review as soon as possible.
